It can be surprising the moment a lesson clicks. One of the first times I remember this happening took place as I sat looking at the blackboard in the basement of my childhood home while sitting at an old wooden desk with a big fat pencil in my hand. My sister was acting as my school teacher and she was teaching me how to spell and print my name.
At this point in my life I am sure I had been taught the letters and how to spell my name by my parents and preschool teacher but it was there in that moment I knew that it had really clicked.
It may have been the right person at just the right time, maybe it was the repetition or perhaps it was introduced in a fun way. I believe it was a combination of the many little things that all came together in a moment. At a seminar called Master Your Power Within, Brandon Broadwater said it this way "Life is won and lost in the little things."
In my personal life I have come to realize that positive results truly have come from good daily decisions. The areas that need improvement are those where I have been inconsistent, uncommitted and have underestimated the power of little things.
What is one thing you want to accomplish?
What is one little thing you can do to begin to do in this moment?
- I am quick to see and use all opportunities for success.
- My goals become closer with everyday that passes.
- I am a dynamic person and I pursue my goals one step at a time energetically.
- I do everything that is necessary to achieve my goals.
- I look forward to beneficial change and I enjoy beneficial change.
- I am committed to doing the small little things it takes to create the life I desire.
