Whatever!!!

As a person with a drive to improve, grow and make a difference for good each day I uncovered a false belief at work in my life, and when I uncovered it I became more positive and much more productive.

Can you recall the last time you just wanted to throw your arms up in the air and say
" Whatever, I give up"? Or a time when you were making every effort to be extremely helpful, only to find out that your helpfulness caused another person distress?

It was during these kinds of experiences that I would ask myself a terrible question like " If my best isn't good enough then Why bother?"

These thoughts led to emotions of hopelessness and despair, which then created a zillion negative thoughts multiplying in my head and halting my progression.
In my seeking for answers I am so grateful for a simple awareness that has made a great difference.

Can you imagine what would happen in your own life if instead of feeling helpless, or like what you do doesn't really matter you actually felt empowered, calm, courageous and confident in your abilities to make a positive difference?

Here is that one little thing that really helped me to have a fresh understanding...

Two steps forward and one step back is to be expected. I first heard these words from Brandon Broadwater at a Higher Laws Event now called Master Your Power Within a few years ago.

Now when set backs come, and they do regularly, instead of saying "why bother? I hear "it's to be expected " echoing in my mind. With that thought I am reminded that a piece of the puzzle is still a part of the solution, and from where I started I am still further ahead.

So the next time you feel like saying "why bother?" Take a deep loving breath for yourself, look for a small moment to see what ground you have gained, what lessons you have learned and gather them  to your heart and put them in your back pack to use on your journey and just keep going...

Two steps forward and one step back it's to be expected. And it is also called PROGRESS!!!!
